Part-time Bookkeeping Specialist

 

We are on the lookout for a part-time bookkeeping specialist who has a solid knowledge of the fundamental accounting principles and knows their way around the bookkeeping cycle. Your bookkeeping portfolio starts small and grows with your time at GritBooks, so this is the perfect job for someone who's looking for some extra work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Posting bank transactions,

• Bank reconciliations,

• AP & AR management,

• Invoicing,

• Payroll,

• Government Remittances,

• Account reconciliations,

• Preparation of management reports,

• Client communication,

• And more.

 

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of bookkeeping experience,

• 1 year of experience with Gmail, Google drive, and excel,

• Accounting diploma or degree (preferable),

• 1 year of Payroll experience (preferable), 

• 1 year of experience with QuickBooks and/or any accounting software experience (preferable),

• Able to work a flexible schedule, 

• Able to work remotely 100% of the time, and

• Lives near Victoria, BC.
